The game is played over a number of Casting Rounds equal to the number of players. Each round consists of a series of tricks equal to one less than the cards in your hand. Play proceeds in clockwise order with the person who took the last trick starting the next (see 6 Winning a Trick). After the final Casting Round, the player with the most Golden Blossoms wins.
At the start of each hand a new performer from the line comes up on stage!
The leader player leads off with a card of their choice. Players must follow suit if they can. If they are unable they may play any card from their hand including a Trump card. Trump for the round is determined by the highest number of Golden Blossoms shown on matching Performers on the stage. As this may change even during a hand the Trump may change during the hand as well!
The winning player of each trick claims a performer from the stage matching the Color and Golden Blossoms shown on the card they won with, or a performer in the Color of their choice if there is no match to the Blossoms. Otherwise they gain no performer this hand!
At the end of a round players gain Scoring Tokens equal to the Golden Blossoms shown on collected Performers.
