Well, we have certainly had a lot happen since our last chat haven’t we? Let us see… in the last month we’ve released the Forged in Fire Product page, we’ve announced Debilitate and Holy Strike as Promo cards for pre-orders, we (and some cool podcasters) have shared several of the new cards that will be in Forged in Fire, we set up Wallpaper Wednesdays to share the art of Forged in Fire, and we even set up our own Podcast, Mage Wars Mondays with the help of Ricky at Let’s Level Up. Whew that’s a lot in a month, let alone an opening of a blog post!
All of that doesn’t come without a lot of hard work, dedication and committed team members, internal and external, so I’d like to take a second and thank everyone who has helped make all of these things possible. Additionally, I would like to thank you, our fans. Your passion for Mage Wars and your appetite for more are key drivers to us delivering all we do!
So where are we today? Today we’re driving at 100 miles per hour (or 160 kilometers per hour depending on your whereabouts while reading this) on course to “Awesometown”; population you! Our first batch of Forged in Fire has arrived and we finally have hard copies in hand to review and inspect! While I can tell you that there are a lot of very effective and fun new spells included, I wanted to take a moment and share with you a short video about the box itself, which in my opinion, is one of the coolest improvements to our Spell Tome Expansion line yet!
As you can see, aside from designing great cards to enhance your experience with Mage Wars, we’ve also been hard at work to deliver a product that is more than just “a box”. This “Grimoire” style of box is excellent for showcasing on your shelf of games, along with you collection of other Mage Wars products, and, is included at the same price as our last Spell Tome Expansion, Conquest of Kumanjaro. More cool for your cash is always a good thing!
You’ve had a chance to see a lot of Forged in Fire already, and there is still more coming! What are you most excited about? What combos have you already thought about designing spell books around? Have you chosen which Mage you’ll be using first after opening the box? Let me know! Email me at ScottMorris@ArcaneWonders.com, connect on Facebook, Twitter or our Forums, but more than anything, make your voice heard!
As always, thank you for being fans!
“See you on the other side of the Harshforge Monolith!”
